Starting a new life in Canada is never easy.

I came from the Philippines where I worked as a teacher. When I moved to Canada, I had to start over. From 2006 to 2015, I worked as a nanny for three different families. Like many newcomers, I experienced limited income, growing bills, debt, and very little financial knowledge. I worked hard every day—but deep inside, I knew that if I didn’t make a change, my situation would stay the same.

In March 2015, I was introduced to the financial services industry through Greatway. From the moment I saw the presentation, I saw hope. I saw opportunity. I saw the possibility of building a better future—not just for myself, but for others too. I made a decision to act.

I enrolled in April 2015, completed my certification in May, passed my provincial exams in June, and became licensed and contracted with Greatway Financial on July 29, 2015. That decision became a turning point in my life.

Through the Greatway opportunity, I was able to pay off my debts and rebuild my financial foundation. But more than that, I found purpose. As an advisor, I don’t just help people save or plan. I have personally delivered insurance claims to families during their most difficult times. In those moments of grief, I witnessed firsthand how proper planning can protect a family from financial devastation.

Being able to help improve the financial security and future of others gives me deep happiness and true fulfillment. This is more than a career—it’s a calling.

Today, my mission is to help more families experience financial clarity, protection, and peace of mind—so they can move forward with confidence, knowing their future is secure.
